Huangshan University, located in the scenic Huangshan region of Anhui province, is nestled in an area renowned for its cultural and natural beauty, including UNESCO World Heritage sites like the Huangshan Mountains and the ancient villages of Xidi and Hongcun. The university benefits from the rich cultural backdrop of Huizhou, focusing on three major disciplines: tourism management, environmental science, and Huizhou culture research. These areas thrive due to the regional advantages, providing a unique educational environment that blends local heritage with academic pursuit. The university spans two campuses covering 118 hectares and serves 18,000 full-time undergraduates across 16 schools and 2 departments, offering a wide range of 57 majors, from arts and sciences to engineering and law. Since its establishment, Huangshan University has fostered international collaboration, forming partnerships with 34 institutions around the globe. These relationships facilitate exchange programs, dual degrees, and faculty visits, enhancing the university's global outlook. The institution began enrolling international students in 2006 and, in 2013, became a recipient of the China Government Scholarship for foreign students. With over 1,000 faculty and administrative staff, including numerous professors with doctoral degrees, the university places a strong emphasis on quality education.
