Proposal and Project Scope

- Alignment: Explain how the project fits the supervisor’s current research and the host university’s strategy.

Interview Selection Phases
Phase 1 — Institutional Review (Spring/Summer): Universities run internal competitions and endorse their top nominees.
Phase 2 — National Submission (Mid‑September): Endorsed candidates submit full applications with supervisor statements and references.
Phase 3 — Vetting (Fall/Winter): The panels evaluate applicant excellence, research merit, and the host environment.
Phase 4 — Final Confirmation (Feb–Mar): Winners are announced; fellowships usually start between April and October.
