Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of an ASEAN member state (excluding Singapore).
- Gain admission to a full-time undergraduate program at NTU.
- Show strong academic performance in exams such as Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Levels, IB Diploma, or equivalent Year 12 qualifications.
- Provide evidence of leadership and co-curricular involvement.
Exclusions: Students admitted to the Renaissance Engineering Program and transfer students from other institutions are not eligible.
Academic Continuation Rules
- Voluntary withdrawal before graduation requires repayment of all allowances plus interest.
- Scholars must maintain a CGPA of 3.5 out of 5.0 each semester.
- Falling below this threshold triggers academic review. Continued poor performance may lead to termination.

Applicants must upload clear digital copies of:
- National ID card or passport (proof of ASEAN citizenship).
- High school transcripts (Year 12 or equivalent).
- Certificates of co-curricular activities or leadership roles.
- Personal essay (maximum 300 words, prompt provided in portal).
- Surety details for two individuals aged 21–60 who agree to sign the scholarship contract.
